On June 20th at the Regular Council meeting - Lux Insights gave Council an overview of the Community Survey results. Take a look:

The community survey is now closed. Thank you to the many who took the time to participate and share thoughts and opinions on how to better serve the community. Results from the survey will be presented to Council on June 20th at the Regular Council meeting and will also be posted on this project page.

Respondents had the option to enter a draw for one (1) of three (3) $200 gift certificates to any local Lake Country business, winners’ choice. Lux Insights, a third-party market research company that is conducting this research and managing all data collection has made the draw and three respondents have been notified.

1. Maureen Angen - $200 Beat Patisserie

2. Sean Ozanne - $200 Block One

3. Allegra Hansen - $200 Subway

Lake Country community members are being asked to provide input on programs and services offered by the District of Lake Country. The results of the seven (7) minute online survey will help the municipality make important decisions on future community investments and programs. The results of the community survey will also contribute to the District having a better understanding of the values and priorities of residents. The last community survey for Lake Country residents was completed in 2019.

Several District of Lake Country plans have been linked for reference (on this page ). If you would like to review the plans before or after you complete the survey we strongly encourage you to do so.

The survey will be open until midnight on May 21st, 2023. All respondents will have the option (it is not mandatory) to enter a draw for one (1) of three (3) $200 gift certificates to any local Lake Country business, winners’ choice. To be entered in the draw, please provide your contact information at the end of the survey. The draw will take place following the close of the survey.

To protect your data and privacy, District of Lake Country is working with Lux Insights, a third-party market research company that is conducting this research and managing all data collection. To ensure your confidence in providing your real and most honest opinions, data collected from this survey will not be tied to your name or email address to maintain your anonymity.

Council will be presented the results of the survey at the June 20th Regular Council Meeting.
